Now is a great time to rejuvenate your lawn. These three simple steps can help! First, rake. This will help remove the thatch from your lawn, which can restrict the growth of new grass blades. Second, top dress. Using our triple mix blend is a perfect way to top dress your lawn, usually, about an inch will do. (As a rough guide use approximately one cubic yard for every three hundred square feet of lawn.) Third, over seed. We have a multitude of grass seed. Visit us at the store and we can help you pick out the correct one for your site. Tip: Do not fertilize and seed at the same time unless you use a specific seed and sod fertilizer. Roll your newly seeded bed to ensure seed makes contact with the soil. Keep seed moist until it has established. Note: If you are not re-seeding be sure to fertilize, we have both natural and standard fertilizer available. If your lawn requires watering be sure to use a deep root method. This will avoid creating surface roots which shallow watering can do. If you create a deeply rooted lawn your lawn will require less water and will not go dormant as fast in a dry spell.
